Our Teachers
The teachers at PALS Praise and Leadership Schools are amazing! Many of them have been in childcare for a decade or more. We are very selective about the teachers we bring to our PALS family and require them to have current CPR and First Aid certifications. Our teacher turnover rate is always under 20%. We are also proud to offer our teachers twenty hours of continuing education every year that they are with us. We are so grateful for everything our teachers do! They are at the forefront of everything we do in our schools.
Food to Fuel Learning
Your child will eat a hot lunch every day while they are a student with us at PALS Praise and Leadership Schools. We aim to post monthly menus in each classroom. Lunch at PALS are nutritious, flavorful and adhere to state health guidelines in Illinois. We also provide morning and afternoon snacks for all of our students. If your child is an infant, please note that you will need to supply us with their formula or breastmilk and baby food. Also, children under two will not be served berries, candies, raisins, corn kernels, raw carrots, whole grapes, hot dogs, nuts, seeds, popcorn, raw peas or peanut butter, per DCFS licensing standards. If your child has a food allergy, please let us know by filling out the appropriate form, which will be posted in the kitchen. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Computers in Classrooms
Many of our parents express interest in access to computers for their children. At PALS Praise and Leadership Schools, we have computers in most of our classrooms for children ages two and older. We keep up-to-date by purchasing new software regularly.
